STAXI recruits distinguished Sales Representative to Strengthen Medical Sector Presence in the Southeastern USA

TORONTO and LONDON – 9 March 2010 – Toronto-based STAXI, the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of nestable transportation chairs, today announced that Patrick Martin joined STAXI Corporation as its new Sales Representative for the Southeast Region of the United States. Patrick Martin will be responsible for strengthening STAXI successful customer relationships in the region’s medical facility sector. Before joining STAXI, Patrick Martin was at Howard Medical, Inc. where he held a senior position as Regional Sales Manager since 2007 serving customers within the hospital market, research institutions, and government agencies.

Patrick Martin’s customer service and business development region includes medical facilities in: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. This reinforces STAXI’s commitment to existing customers and to building long lasting relationships in this territory.

Prior to Howard Medical, Inc., Patrick Martin served in various senior sales and business development positions at Abbott Diagnostics, Inc., McKesson, Bristol Myers Squibb, Inc. and Xerox Corporation. Patrick holds a BS in Marketing and Minor in speech from Southern Illinois University.
